As a leading manufacturer of corona treatment machines in China, we are committed to developing effective solutions for different industrial needs. One of our recent collaborations vividly illustrates this commitment, highlighting our prowess in adapting our technology to diverse scenarios. This article outlines our experience working with a distinguished slitting machine manufacturer, shedding light on the material processing involved and how our corona treatment machines improved their production efficiency.
Our collaborative partner, a renowned manufacturer, specializes in the design and production of top-tier slitting machines. Employed across sectors such as packaging, textiles, and paper manufacturing, these machines adeptly ‘slit’ large rolls of material into narrower ones, enabling businesses to customize product sizes based on specific market demands and streamline inventory management.

In many cases, the materials processed by slitting machines range from plastic films and paper to metal foils. These diverse materials often present unique challenges, such as low surface energy, which can impede the adherence of inks, adhesives, or coatings during subsequent manufacturing stages. This is where our advanced corona treatment machines, particularly our upgraded 3010Z Series, come to the fore.
Corona treatment is a proven and effective technique for enhancing the surface energy of various materials. It involves subjecting the material surface to a high voltage electrical discharge, or “corona”. The resulting alteration in the material surface enhances its receptivity to inks, adhesives, and coatings, boosting the quality and efficiency of subsequent processing stages.

Our upgraded 3010Z Series Corona Treatment Machines feature cutting-edge enhancements, such as an LED screen with touch operation for a user-friendly experience. Moreover, the machines are designed to automatically adjust power levels based on the line speed of the machine, thereby ensuring optimal treatment irrespective of operational conditions. Both manual and automatic modes are available, providing operators with a choice based on their specific needs. Additionally, our machines offer language support for both English and Chinese, promoting ease of use across diverse operating environments.
In this collaboration, we installed our upgraded 3010Z Series Corona Treatment Machine onto the client’s slitting machine. This integration allowed immediate treatment of materials after slitting, streamlining the manufacturing process and enhancing production efficiency, minimizing waste, and boosting the client’s profitability.

Following the incorporation of our technology, our client noted a significant improvement in product quality. There was superior adhesion of inks and coatings on the treated materials, enhancing both the aesthetic appeal and durability of the final products.
